Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actor from the United States. Born on the 27th of March 1970, she is 5'9 inches tall. Her most well-known role is as Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost TV show and FBI agent Erica Evans in V. Gia. The Escape Clause. Mitchell co-stars with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's stepfather is an attorney in Dallas, as are her mother Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell and her mom moved to Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell received her high school diploma from Booker T. Washington High School Visual and Performing Arts, which is a school that is a Magnet Public School. Mitchell is the youngest of three sisters the others being Kristina Katherine Day Kate Mitchell and Kristina Kristie Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and furthering her studies in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater. According to a June report from 2010, her character in Criminal Minds will be diminished for the 6th season. Brewster's character was removed from Criminal Minds in March of 2011, however she may come back in the future.
