Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. She is an actress known by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. Her current role is analyst overseeing the Assassination Witness project and a core member of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Research conducted by the GITOC is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence, particularly in the context of illicit economies. Her main research areas are the effect of criminal organizations in relation to human rights, as well as law and policy. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. Additionally, she holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from her school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude at the level of Legal and Social Sciences. Her professional experience has included four years of practicing at a firm which specializes in litigation involving public law. In her past, she has worked in non-government organisations that are based within Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
