Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for her lead roles in TV shows such as "The West Wing, "In Plain Sight," and Loaded.' Also known for her roles in films that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. Her parents were a therapist and an ice cream store owner, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the world of entertainment. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of parents the year 1990, went on to attend Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in comparative art. When she began her career, she had only twelve when she appeared on stage in the production of an opera called "Amahl's Night People". The actor performed throughout the years, and her roles eventually made it onto the screen. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. She has three daughters with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
